Never a dull moment!!!

Never a dull moment ... crazy week.. leaving on vacation tomorrow ... and oops, Ryan goes down while playing soccer with his cousin Tanner. 3 plus hours in urgent care, two set of xrays and they believe just a bad sprain. Ryan off his foot for two weeks .. using crutches and off the lake. But fun is still on the schedule.

The OC Fair ... take 2 with Papa

Wow what a day .... Grandpa really wanted to go to the OC fair, so today we went. Fun Fun Fun ... Big sausage, fried chicken, dip n dots, pizza (of course) and candy... along with spending time with Cassy (her rabbits) and Bettina. Grandpa and Nicole rode the La Grande ferris wheel; Nicole and Cassy got soaked on the water slide then flew on the paragliders to dry off. Ryan, well he wasn't into rides .. he was on a mission to win a big prize at the crazy games, i'm sad to say he came home empty handed. Then on to the carnival of products ... grandpa made some great buys and the kids got something, of course !!! We are so blessed to spend days like this with my dad !!!

Gram turns 91 !!!

What a great day .... we were all together including Heidi and her boys... which meant great gram had all 6 of her great grandchildren and all 4 of her grandkids together for her 91st birthday. Weather was wonderful, time together fabulous, food delicious and of course the pool was warm... The kids never stopped and the presents made gram smile. We are blessed

Off to Leadership Camp ....

Oh, my little girl is growing up. This morning I put her, along with her BFF Lauren, their friend Gillian, 4 others from ASB and I brave teacher on the train heading for UC Santa Barbara where they will spend three days at Leadership Camp. Matching shirts, lots of snacks and hopefully a little sleep. I can't wait for them to enjoy this experience.

What a day !!!

Today, according to Ryan has been the best of summer yet !!! He and his best bud Jared started Seahorse Soccer Camp. A week of his favorite thing ... soccer .... lunch in the Biola University Cafeteria with unlimited pizza and icees and a few dives of the high dive into the Biola pool!!! What more could a boy want. When I picked up Ryan and Jared today after almost 8 hours at camp and completely sweaty shirts .. the smiles are the faces were priceless. Oh to love something this much ... We are now at my house waiting for Rob and guess what the boys are doing .. practicing soccer in the back yard (Of course)... on the other hand...

Nic has not been feeling well with some crazy stomach issues so her day didn't go quite as well... a doctor visit and her first time at having blood drawn (actually 4 viles). There was a point I didn't think I could get her in the chair, almost had to push her. But she survived and now we wait!!!

A day at the OC Fair

Wow ... what a great day .... Family time, great weather, rides, lots of food (corn, frozen bananas, and churos) fun with friends, pig races, ice museum and a fabulous showing for Logan and his lamb (Lambchop). So much fun .. truly blessed with family and friends...
