Happy Chinese New Year !!!!

It's the year of the Horse .....

and we celebrated today with lunch at Yang Chow in Chinatown ....

So much fun, so many laughs, check one more off my bucket list !!!

A day of laughs .....

My family just makes me smile and today was no different !!!

Today the 4 of us and along with Cade took off for a day of making memories ...

and had a perfect day on Balboa Island

So far Granada's basket ball team is doing great !!!!

Sweet Olive turned 1 ...

A long weekend of fun ............

What a beautiful long weekend in January ....

filled with soccer, donuts,mickey mouse, sun and sand ....

These kids of mine sure made the most of a Martin Luther King weekend....
All the while i was stuck in the house with shingles on face and in my eye !!!
They had a blast !!!!

Her college days are getting closer !!!

I can close my eyes and see my baby girl as clear as day, so how is it that I open them and my 

sweet baby is growing into a beautiful woman. Who is closing in on finishing her junior year in high school. Which means we are having to look at colleges. Yes colleges and her future. 

We started our college tours on January 4th, 

First up ...

Cal State Channel Islands

So much fun, so much to think about, and these 2 !!

Next Stop 

Cal State Northridge ...

 these girls have so much in common ...

including their college major and their love of food ...

so of course we ended our day with a great meal ..

This was the first of many tours to come ...

Can't wait to see where her path leads her, so many decisions so many choices ...
