Mammoth !!!!

Excited is an understatement ..

As his weekend with Cade and the McCaffers arrived ... Off they went .. 

for a weekend fishing in Mammoth....   

 

 

 

Such a great weekend and a good time for Ryan ...

 

ReD, wHiTe & BLuE DaY !!!!

A very different 3rd and 4th of July ...

But fun was had by all ....

 

On the 3rd, the kids spent the day as usual at Regional park with 10,000 others

and a few of their closet friends for a day of fun and fireworks...

 while mark and I watched the fireworks off in the distance from our driveway ...

 

The on the 4th .... we enjoyed a relaxing day with friends !!!

 

starting with some redneck fun

 

 

 



 

and ending with a bon fire, laughs and fireworks ..

My summer can begin ......

  I made it to the BEACH !!!!!

 

As, I have sat here trapped in my house (LOL) trying to recover and heal,

summer has begun ... the kids have been out and about and enjoying summer....

 

Well .... Ryan had beach soccer practice on Sunday and I decided ...

 

 

i'm done waiting  and ready to figure out a way to enjoy some summer fun ..

 

So with the help of my kids and friends ...

We set off for practice  ... and some fun !!!!

 

I Made it ...  I didn't get far, I didn't see the water ...

but damn, I sat in the sand ... I ate hot dogs .. and I enjoyed hearing the waves ..

 

 

I never pictured myself stepping very slowly, using a walker just to make it

20 yards across into the sand .... But, that is what I had to do today ..

However, regardless that I did use a walker in the sand and I had to sit with my leg

on a stool ... I spent the afternoon at the BEACH ..

Pagenkopp Family Reunion

 

For the first time in many years most of my family was together again ....

 

 

Dad, was one of 7 children .. ( 5 are still living ) all 5 and a majority of my 30 cousins,

along with my cousins children and even their grand children

gathered Saturday for a day of catching up.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Kern River fun ......

 

It was a true boys trip ....

2 Dads, 6 boys, heat and lots of river fun ...

 

 

What a great weekend was had by all .... 5 (2 1/2) hour raft trips were made

floating down the Kern River in 106 degrees...

Rope swing fun ....

Hanging with their buds ...

 

Add in forgotten propane for lanterns, forgotten base to the BBQ,

Cooking taco's in the motorhome at 9 o'clock at night, where its 112,

eating in the dark outside ....

The boys thought all this just made the trip better ...

 

so much fun as the enjoyed a last hurrah ...

before Ryan's friend Seth leaves

for Missouri

Then off to West Hollywood for Millions of Milkshakes...

 then a great end to a fun night ...
The beach, her one wish for the  night came true !!!

 With lots of crazy, with lots of laughs, with a few yawns ... Nicole had a great Night...
