The celebration continues .......

Tonight, Ryan's birthday dinner choice was

CPK ....

 He got to enjoy dinner at one of his favorite places, with Grandma Bliss, Papa, Grandma Diane and Dennis. And to top it off watch the Packers play Monday night football.

...... 14 ........

How is it possible that my little boy is 14 !!!!

He is growing into such a confident, smart, good looking young man !!!

 

His birthday celebration started on the 1st, a day of no school, with his first request

monkey bread ......

Then off for a round of golf with Seth ....

 

We woke up early on his birthday for a soccer game !!!

(where he scored an Olympic goal) awesome !!!

 

Had some go cart fun when we got home .....

 Then off for some UCLA Football and dinner

to end a great day !!!!

Halloween 2013

The kids are little anymore, they don't want to trick or treat with mom and dad.

They made plans of their own, Nicole even drove herself to her plans.

So, I held onto as many of our traditions as I could that didn't interfere with

their plans.

But, you know  me, I don't do well with change, so I missed my grandparents, I missed my aunt & uncle, we missed sheri and the kids ... and my BFF ..

Things change I get it .. just don't have to like it ..

 

All in all .... Great evening !!!!

The journey is still going

Today, (Wednesday) was a big step in gaining answers for where we go next

with my knee.  Therapy continues, still no driving, I can bend it now up to 113 degrees (but man it hurts) but It always hurts, it doesn't work well and gets real stiff.

But, I am much better than I was ...

Can't wait to see what the results say !!!!

The hunt has begun ........

Ryan only wants one thing for his birthday ...

he wants all his family to go in on

a new snowboard ....

Ryan, is a kid who knows what he wants and will search, work, call, do whatever it takes to make it happen.

He has spent countless hours on the internet learning about boards, shapes, brands, etc.

He wants a Burton board, so in his searching he found they have a flagship store in downtown LA.

So Monday (in 4pm traffic) we headed to LA.

He was in heaven, so much to look at, so much to choose from, so much more to learn from the great employee who taught us so much.

  The perfect one was not here ....
so the search will continue !!!!
But, the birthday celebration has begun ... so ryan's choice for dinner...
his LA favorite.

 

 



Bring on some "Pan Squad" at the Harvest Fest ....

Ryan is loving his 3rd year of steel drums ....

Tonight the Pan Squad performed for the first time this year!

 



It is time for a new lawn !!

 

It was long overdo !!!

Our lawn was not only full of various types of grass, and completely uneven ... but was also full of holes ...

so we did it, we bit the bullet and ordered a whole new lawn !!!
